The challenge

Car-wash and rental services can become fragmented when appointment booking, service details, and availability are handled separately.

Car-wash and rental services can become fragmented when appointment booking, service details, and availability are handled separately. The challenge was to present a mobile app concept that makes vehicle-care tasks feel direct and easy to complete.

Objective

The objective was to design a mobile experience that lets users schedule a car wash, understand service options, and access rental-related features through a clean app interface.

Audience

Drivers, commuters, KwikTrip customers, car-wash users, and people who want simple booking and vehicle-care services in one app.

Constraints

The concept needed to make appointment booking feel fast, keep service information easy to understand, and combine car-wash and rental options without overloading the interface.

Design responsibility

The project needed service convenience, not only polished screens.

I reframed the presentation around the user need: service convenience. The layout now explains the strategy before showing the visual screens.

Selected responsibilities

The new case study makes the booking flow, structure, and design decisions easier for recruiters to evaluate.

Process

From service convenience to polished project presentation.

Step 01

Project framing

I defined the accessibility problem around communication support, resource discovery, and faster connection to nearby care providers.

Step 02

Core flow

I focused the experience around clear support tasks: communication resources, guidance, profile flow, and doctor or care-provider connection.

Step 03

Structure

I organized the product around simple paths so users can understand where to go without scanning dense or stressful interfaces.

Step 04

Visual design

Designed polished mobile UI screens with clear actions and service-focused hierarchy.

Design decisions

The project direction is built around booking flow, trust, and reduced friction.

For this project, the presentation needs to show how users move from first impression to meaningful action. Each design decision supports clarity, trust, and stronger evaluation.

Service convenience-first product structure

Reason: Booking flow users need to compare important property information quickly.

Impact: The app concept feels more practical and task-oriented.

Combined service model

Reason: Mobile App UI-focused products benefit from clear hierarchy, predictable layouts, and reduced visual noise.

Impact: The product direction feels more useful and complete.

Clear service hierarchy

Reason: Users need to compare options without confusion.

Impact: The interface becomes easier to scan and act on.

Final work

A polished slide-to-case-study presentation using the original KT Car Wash App V1.0 visuals.

Outcome

Car wash booking and rental app reframed as a modern UX/UI case study.

The final KT Car Wash App case study presents a mobile service concept for scheduling car washes and accessing rental options through a clean, practical, and polished app interface.

Booking flow discovery

The project centers quick appointment scheduling.

Mobile App-first listing flow

The concept combines related vehicle-care tasks.

6 visual screens

The original slide presentation is preserved and reframed into a modern case study.
